ABOUT

LEAH IN WANDERLUST

Welcome to my walking adventures!

I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors! Particularly when the weather is shining, therefore walking has become a cherished activity of mine.

It’s more than just exercise for me—it’s a way to connect with nature, find peace, and explore the hidden gems of the UK.

In 2021, my life took a challenging turn when I was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cervical cells. Faced with this unsettling news, I sought a way to take control of my physical and mental well-being.

That’s when walking became my sanctuary—a calming force that helped me navigate through uncertain times. The simple act of putting one foot in front of the other offered me peace amidst the anxiety.

Thankfully, in 2022, I received the all-clear. Armed with renewed energy and gratitude for life, I set out on a mission to explore the beauty of the UK on foot with my partner and our adorable pug, Hershel Puggins.

My partner was an unwavering source of support and encouragement throughout my health journey, urging me to pursue my dreams and Hershel Puggins, our faithful companion, accompanied us every step of the way.

We fell in love with Scenescaping, a personal passion I’ve developed where we discover and visit real-life filming locations from some of my favourite films and TV shows.

Fast forward to Summer 2024—this year marks my most ambitious adventure yet: walking from John O’Groats to Land’s End (JOGLE). This solo trek covers close to 950 miles, taking me through the stunning landscapes of Scotland, England, and Wales.

Along the way, I’ll be sharing stories, stunning scenery, and movie-location discoveries. Whether you’re here for hiking inspiration, Scenescaping adventures, or to follow along on my JOGLE journey, I hope my stories inspire you to take your own first step, whatever that may look like.

Don’t forget to check out my blog, videos, and subscribe to my YouTube channel where I document every moment of this incredible walk from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
